Whilst being a theologian at heart, my main motivation in writing is pastoral: I want to help people to make sense of the Christian faith in the context of everyday life in the twenty-first century. I try to integrate theological reflection with practical wisdom, in hope of evoking a gritty spirituality that both satisfies the mind and nourishes the soul.
